I will happily travel all over the UK and internationally! I am based in Derbyshire, but have performed at Weddings and Events all over the UK and beyond (I'm booked to perform in Italy and Ireland in 2023!) For venues that are less than 15 miles from my home address, I don't charge any mileage, but for venues any further than 15 miles or outside of the UK I just ask for my travel and accommodation* costs to be covered! (*If necessary/more than 125 miles).
Absolutely! I always tell my couples that feel a bit torn between packages to book in with the lesser package initially to make sure that your date is secure in my diary, and then you can always add on to that package at a later date. Unless I have another booking or personal commitment in the evening that is already in my diary before you book - I don't tend to book more than one event or wedding in a day - so I can be super flexible!
I can also hop on to a video or phone call with you prior to booking to help answer any questions and hopefully help you decide on which package suits you best!
Yes - I hold public liability insurance to the value of £5million. I am happy to send this to your venue if they require a copy of my certificate, along with my PAT testing certificates for all of my electrical equipment. If your venue requires a higher value (i.e. £10 million, this can be discussed and arranged).
Yes! I have both a full BOSE L1 compact PA sound system with tower speaker and built-in mixer, and a BOSE S1 battery operated PA system, as well as a number of high-quality microphones (both wireless and wired) depending on the requirements for your event. Most people ask me to use my wired vintage-look microphone as they like the look of this best. I will always bring extra equipment with me to any performance to ensure I have back ups, and always bring a 45m extension lead so I can perform both inside and outside.
No not at all! Though Weddings make up the majority of my bookings; I am more than happy to sing for any and all events!
I've had the honour of performing for birthdays, baby showers, hen parties, corporate employee events, networking events, engagement parties, charity fundraisers, residential care home parties, salon openings, Christmas fayres, restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, wakes and celebrations of life, christenings, online and in-person business events...
The list is endless and I will be able to work directly with you to ensure my performance is adjusted and personalised to fit your event.
Once you have sent your initial enquiry through, I will make contact with you to discuss your Wedding Day/Event in more detail and answer any questions you may have. This can either be in person, over a video call or just over emails/messages - it's completely up to you! Once you have chosen the package you would like for your day, I will then send over your invoice and my booking Terms and Conditions.
Once you have paid your booking fee and secured your date in my diary, I'll then send over your Welcome Pack that includes hints, tips, tricks and guides to picking your songs, and my full song Repertoire to kick start your excitement to pick the soundtrack to your event. In order to secure the date there is an initial booking fee/deposit which is 25% of your chosen package price and any travel. Then there is nothing left to pay until 2 weeks before your big day!
Throughout the lead up to your day I will be on hand to answer any questions you have, make contact with your venue and co-ordinators and to help you with your song selections - just pop an email across any time and I'll be happy to help.
I am extremely particular about the quality of the instrumentals I use. I either source and pay for the highest quality instrumental available, or pay for a bespoke instrumental to be created by a wonderfully talented musician friend of mine.
This also means that if you were hoping for an acoustic/slowed version of one of your favourite songs - I can work with my friend to make this happen for you.
I'm also always happy to work with any other musicians or other forms of live entertainment you have booked for your event.
I absolutely love working and collaborating with any and all talented musicians that I can! Over the years I've sang alongside string duos, live acoustic guitarists and/or pianists, full production bands, other fellow vocalists, DJ's, you name it! I can either recommend musicians/vocalists I know and love already, or I will be more than happy to work with a musician of your choosing.
Depending on your package chosen, I could be with you all day!
I usually like to arrive around 1-1.5 hours before my performance time in order to set up and sound check in plenty of time. If you have booked for me to sing for your ceremony, this will be around 1-1.5 hours before your guests arrive (therefore around 1.5-2 hours before your ceremony begins) so that I can soundcheck without any guests being in ear-shot so as not to 'spoil the magic'.
I require around 30 minutes to pack down after I have performed my final song, and if you ask me to stay and dance with you - I will almost always* say yes! (*Providing I don't have personal obligations that I need to leave for). I don't like to book more than one event a day (especially if that event is a Wedding!) so usually I'll be happy and available to stay and celebrate with you, should you wish me to! :)
Absolutely!! I'm always more than happy to learn new songs for my couples (and usually it's a song I do already know, I'd just forgotten to add it to my list!)
I can also work with you and a talented musician friend of mine to create a slowed/ acoustic/ wedding-appropriate version of almost any song to ensure your day, and it's soundtrack, are as personal and unique to you as possible.
